  • What services do you offer?
    We provide case management, life skills sessions, emergency and long-term housing, job readiness programs, and other supportive resources to assist individuals and families successfully life self reliant and productive lifestyles.
  • Do I have to be experiencing homelessness to receive services?
    We offer a variety of services available to both unhoused and housed individuals and families. If you need assistance finding suitable and stable housing within your budget, our services provide affordable housing options to those who may not otherwise qualify for them.
  • Do you have any upcoming events?
    Our website's events page is specifically for Thrive Residents ONLY. However we do host various events throughout the year to raise awareness and support our mission that are open to public. To receive invitation directly to your email inbox, join our newsletter.
  • How long does it take to get housing?
    The timeline varies depending on availability of resources and housing options. We aim to assist as quickly as possible, but waitlists may apply.
  • Do you offer emergency shelter or temporary housing?
    Yes, we provide emergency shelter, referrals to local shelters and programs based on availability. If you need guidance, call us directly at 717. 364. 4152
  • Do you accept housing vouchers?
    We accept Rapid Rehousing, Section 8 vouchers, as well as other Harrisburg and Dauphin County housing vouchers. Please note, vouchers are not required. We also support individuals and families with income who don’t have these vouchers.
  • How can I apply for housing?
    To give you the support you need, we carefully consider each application and verify all information provided to us to determine your housing needs. To apply for housing and get step by step instructions regarding the application process, visit our Become A Resident page.
  • How can I make a donation?
    We appreciate your generosity! Whether large or small, all donations help us further our mission by helping youth, adults, and families in need find safe and affordable housing. One-time and monthly monetary donations as well as Amazon Wishlist gifts can be made on our website via the Donate page.   • What types of donations do you accept?
    We accept financial donations, as well as in-kind donations like clothing, hygiene products, and non-perishable food items. Please check our Donate page for more information.
  • Are my donations tax-deductible?
    Yes, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations are tax-deductible. We will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes upon request.
  • Do you have any volunteer opportunities?
    Yes, we welcome volunteers to help with a variety of tasks from cleaning and organizing to gift wrapping and event planning. To see our available opportunities, visit our Volunteer page.
